GHS Winter Lectures: Dominic Cole
East of Eden
at the RHS Lecture Theatre, London
After designing the EDEN project and setting up his own practice in 2012 Dominic has enjoyed working on a wide variety of interesting and unusual projects, combining his interest in historic gardens with contemporary design.
He is working with the National Trust on their response to the new railway HS2 and how it affects their properties along the route — the aim is to achieve the least impact and best fit into the landscape so that both the properties and adjacent community get the best possible result.
In his role on the National Trust advisory panel Dominic visits National Trust sites from inner city Manchester to some of the great country houses.
Dominic will talk about his work and some of his current projects .
We regret that the lecture by Anna Pavord, which was due to take place on Wednesday 19 February 2014 at the RHS, has had to be postponed to next year, for reasons beyond the control of the GHS. Instead the GHS lecture at the RHS will be given by Dominic Cole, cas above. It will take place on Saturday 22 February, the second day of the RHS Flower Show, beginning at 4.30 pm.
Doors open at 4pm, lecture starts at 4.30 pm.
