As a prequel to our AGM and Conference at Keele this summer, we will be visiting the gardens at Biddulph Grange. Paul Baker’s recent article on the gardens’ creator James Bateman can be read in our Forum. Peter Hayden who wrote the definitive book on Bidulph will be at the Conference.

A coach will leave Keele at 1.30pm on Thursday 21 July, returning to Keel later in the afternoon in ample time for dinner. Cost is £10 (£19 if you don’t belong to the National Trust). Contact Anne Richards at the address on the Booking Form.
