Heritage Open Days

Posted on May 16th, 2013 by Gary Webb

I have joined the Heritage Open Days volunteer blogging team for 2013 and wish to bring you news of my venture!

Some of you may know of my personal blog, Gardening Ways, which features articles on gardening and linked subjects, but blogging for the Heritage Open Days team provides a wider platform to spread positive messages about gardens; particularly heritage ones.

My personal contribution will be spread over twelve months, which includes posts during the build up to the open days on 12th to 15th September 2013, and afterwards. My posts hope to bring a heritage garden focus to the team, with articles focused on attracting new visitors to the open days, and also for those who are thinking of opening their gardens in support of Heritage Open Days.

The outcome as far as my involvement goes, hopefully, will be a little extra promotion for heritage garden locations, and a little extra exposure which may trigger repeat visits.

Look out for my posts such as:
– Gardens: to visit or not to visit
– Selling heritage gardens
– Plants and People

There may also be an extra post or review thrown in for good measure. I could even feature your HOD garden if you’re up for an interview?!

Please support my involvement and look at for my posts on the Heritage Open Days website, which is also the first stopping point if you’re interested in registering your property for Heritage Open Days 2013 – it is a really simple process! www.heritageopendays.org.uk

Best wishes

Gary
