Japanese landscaper Kusumoto Seyomon

Posted on July 11th, 2006 by Sian Jones

Angela Davies is trying to put together a list of gardens designed and built (or supervised) by the Japanese landscaper Kusumoto Seyomon in the UK during the early 20th century. (Seyemon or Seiemon are better transcripts of the Japanese) . He was involved with about 200 gardens here.

A web search brought up Gardens House, Cottered, which was shown as being on the English Heritage list. (I have received some Information about this garden but no contact details.) The only other connection was Du Cane Court but when I clicked on this link there was no reference to a garden.

If you have any information about this landscaper or the gardens he designed and built, Angela would be most grateful to hear from you
